About Me 

Hi!  I'm Dawn.  I'm a published author and blogger.  I enjoy learning as much as possible in life and then sharing it with other people.  I also like typing on a computer whether it be on a desktop or laptop.  I remember the old typewriters where you would have to press down a lot harder on the keys back then than you do on the personal computer keyboards today.  I remember when my family got its first personal computer back in the 80's.  At the time, I used it to type research papers and do other homework for school.  I did not enjoy doing research papers, essays, and other similar types of homework.  However, I always enjoyed the subject of English.  Additionally, I was always good at it.  It was one of my favorite subjects in school.  It was also my best subject in school especially while I was in high school.  I ended up in Advanced English towards the end of my time there.  When I went to college, I did not major in English though.  I majored in Mass Communications which is similar to an extent because a person still needs the knowledge and experience with the English language.  I enjoy communications.  I also enjoy communicating with people.  Back then, I originally wanted to be a broadcast communicator on television such as a news reporter.  It's interesting that I am a broadcast communicator but only in a different way.  In more recent years, it has been more on-line whether it be social media or websites and blogs.
