Looking for Love?

Are you looking for love? The country artist, Johnny Lee, sang "Looking for Love" in 1980. However, the song is still relevant today in this world. There are many people who are still looking for love. Just like the crooner sings, they are looking for love in all the wrong places. They are looking for love from people, but it doesn't originate with humans.

Love originates from the ultimate creator of this world. God. He is love. (1 John 4:8) Therefore, it is one of His main characteristics. It's a part of His true nature.

Some people may not consider this good characteristic a part of God's true nature due to their own personal bad experience with one Christian or one local church. Both Christians and the local church are supposed to be loving, giving, and other good Godly attributes. Unfortunately, there are times when both fail to maintain God's standards. Therefore, do not base your beliefs on people who do change. Rather, base your beliefs on God who does not change.

God is infallible. He doesn't fail. He is trustworthy. He is faithful. Most importantly, He is love. (1 John 4:8)

He loves you so much that He gave up His one and only son, Jesus, for you to have eternal life. You just have to believe it and accept it. (John 3:16) Will you accept God's gift? Will you receive His love?
